Formed as the natural progression of singer/songwriter Shane Fritsch’s solo project the band St Leonards arrived in Los Angeles via Sydney, Australia in May 2009 to record and produce music for their forthcoming debut album with music emotionally rooted and sonically expansive.

Their sonic palette spans eras contemporary to classic; reflecting artists from Coldplay to Blue Nile…Genesis to XTC.
St Leonards has assembled a team of true professionals including John Wooler (Producer - Van Morrison, Robben Ford, etc), Dan Bosworth (Engineer - The Rolling Stones), Randy Jacobs (guitar), Lenny Castro (percussion), Siedah Garret (Backing Vocals - Michael Jackson, Madonna), Jamie Muhoberac (keys – Seal, Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Bob Dylan, Bob Seger) and Oz Fritz (Mix Engineer - Tom Waits, Bob Marley, The Ramones, Bill Laswell).
The resultant tracks effortlessly blend catchy melodic vocals and emotional integrity which is rarely achieved in contemporary music.
